Hello, my name is Becca.

I am a lifelong Vermonter. I have never strayed far from this state, and I grew up in a very rural part of it, specifically on a dairy farm on the Canadian border.

I grew up surrounded by animals and nature, and I love both to this day.

I have played different instruments my entire life, my most prominent being bass guitar since I was 11 years old.

I’ve always enjoyed drawing, cartooning, writing poetry and songs, and generally creating with my hands.

I very much enjoyed doing metal working in college.

I went to Vermont Technical College for electrical engineering after graduating from high school.

I worked in the electrical lab, and tutored students in a variety of subjects during my time at VTC.

I designed circuit boards and wrote firmware for about 4 years before moving on to another company.

During my time working as a technician, I studied the web space in many forms.

I also learned about marketing, SEO, web design and many other topics related to building an online business.

My current endeavors include the Vermont Talks podcast, where I interview locals about their businesses and projects.

I’m a full stack software engineer in the Burlington Vermont area and I am currently completing a bachelor’s degree in computer science at Southern New Hampshire University.
